Grief occurs after losing someone or something important to you. Grief is idiosyncratic in that it is unique to who you are, but if it is not processed properly, grief can cause deep and overwhelming emotions that can linger a lifetime.
This Grief and Loss group will help you understand the importance of grief, along with fostering an understanding of both healthy and unhealthy grief. The group is designed to help people who are grieving a significant loss, such as loss of a loved one, loss of a relationship, loss of health, or financial status, especially as it relates to or as a result of the COVID pandemic.
This group is designed to provide a compassionate and supportive place to cope with your loss.
The group will focus on:
Finding ways to express and process your grief
Grieving with hope
